zinwood, if you have gathered as much intel. on your situation Watch Learn & Listen Find out the 3 w's when,where & WHO; then inform a detective Ahead of time & see what happens who knows a cop may actually be in th right plce @ the right time. hOWEVER THE LAW IS A DOUBLE EDGED SWORD IN THE SENCE IT CUTS BOTH WAYS ....if you have wittnesses that are legit you should have no problem do what you have too to protect your family But Know The Laws & be safe & Please only be a hero as a last resort/end game no options.......waiting on police if you are armed and on the phone w/ 911 give them your description & location in your home & stay in contact so your local blood thirsty law enforcement Agencies do; not shoot to kill policy, YOU, Oh don't worry they will justify it some how don't you fret none...........Lol...Get a rope.....JUST KIDDING,,,try flogging & stocks first...........Ha ha ha ha!!!!!!!!
