Dr Helston searved the comuntiy for over 37 years untill an accident that a physians assistant he was overseeing had with a patient made him have to surrender his medical licence in, I think it was, January. Since then the 77 year old Dr Helston has been looking for a new job. He didn't have anything saved for retirement because he didn't make enough month to month to save. This man has helped many people that didn't have insurance at his kitchen table no matter what time of night. He still made house calls too. Now that he is no longer able to help people no one will help him. He has never asked for a hand out he wants a job. The hospital he worked for off and on for over 20 years has no where for him. I think that it is wrong that a man who has given so much to people can't get a brake. When I talked to him last night he mentioned working at the potato sheds. I am outraged that he would even have to consider doing something like that a man who has helped so many people. I guess it is because he helped the poor. I guess if he had been in it for the money not the people he wouldn't be losing his house and not able to put food on the table. Like I said he is not asking for a hand out he never has. Just a job
