Saturday, June 7, 2008, the Experimental Aircraft Association’s local Chapter 71 (aka “The Bakersfield Bunch”) Is having their annual Fly-in & BBQ at the Bakersfield Municipal Airport. The event will start around 9am and will go all day and into the evening (ending approx 6pm). Dozens of experimental airplanes from all over the Western United States are expected (maybe as many as 100 planes) along with a fundraising Tri-Tip Dinner, raffle, airplane rides, etc.
