The Kern County Chapter of SHRM (Society for Human Resources Management) is pleased to present Mr. Richard Chapman, President/CEO of the Kern Economic Development Corporation as the speaker at the next KCSHRM meeting and luncheon. Mr. Chapman will be discussing the growth of Kern County's economy in the context of the U.S. recession and what the KEDC is doing to make changes locally. The event will take place on Wednesday, March 5, 2008 from 11:15 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at the Petroleum Club, 5060 California Ave, 12th Floor. The lunch meeting costs $18/member or $25/non-member.
